1: Be sure to read ''the acorn people'' by Ron Jones

2: A Stands For: Acorn Necklace | Made by the society of the ''Acorn People'' that symbolizes that everyone is normal no matter what shape size or disability you may have.

3: B Stands For: Benny. B | A boy who has Polio but can go very fast in the water, like all the kids at Camp Wiggin, he loves the swimming pool.

4: C stands for: Counselors | The camp counselors of Camp Wiggin who help the kids there how to be more like regular kids & show them how to have real fun

5: D stands for: Dominic Cavelli | A camp counselor who helps Ron with the kids. He has a connection with the Mafia.

6: E stands for: Epilog | The saddest part of the book when we find out the end of the all the main kids in the book

7: F stands for: fundraising junket | A fundraiser for the children's diseases

8: G stands for: Groups | Groups are the girls and the boys separated from each other but only at their cabins

9: H is for: Hiking | A daily activity that lets the kids interacte with nature

10: I stands for: Ignominy | The word stands for shameful of dishonorable which is propably what the kids feel like sometimes

11: Janie is just another girl at camp who is one of the many girls who starts to wear makeup and have a good time with Mrs. Nelson | J stands for: Janie

12: K stands for: Kitchen | Where the kids learn how to cook and where Aaron feels important for once

13: M stands for: Martin | Martin is blind. He has red hair but is excellent at swimming

14: A new who used to nurse for soldiers in world war ii | N is for: Nurse Nelson

15: A character in the water extravaganza that is held at the end of the camp. He is an king and has his own cave. | O stands for : Oh La

16: Pool is where the kids have as much fun as they've ever had. The pool is were the kids show off the real talents | P stands for: Pool

17: Quiet describes how most of the kids were at the beginning of the book. | Q is for: Quiet

18: Ron is a new counselor at the camp who doesn't know he is working at a camp for handicap kids until the beginning of the book. | R stands for : Ron

19: Swimming at the pool brings out the best of the kids and makes them have fun. | S stands for: Swimming

20: Thomas is the sickest of all. He has muscular sclerosis and only weighs 35 pounds. | T stands for: Thomas

21: The kids possibly felt unconquerable when they finished the play they put on. | U stands for: Unconquerable

22: Camp Wiggin is a camp for handicap children. This is where the story takes place. | W stands for: Wiggin Camp

23: X stands for: Xenophobia | Many of the kids might feel scared around strangers maybe by them explaining the deceases or being humiliated.

24: Zany describes how some of the kids act while in the pool | Z stands for : Zany
