FC: Act 1 Scene 2/3
1: 1. Who is Paris? He is the guy that is marrying Juliet. He is also a count, and almost twice as old as her. And since hes a count he is very inportant. 2. In this scene what impression do we get of Lord Capulet? How does he feel about Juliet and marriage? My impression of Lord Capulet is that he is very old( older then Juliet) 3. How much power does Juliet have over her life? Why? I dont think she has any power in her life. She has a mother that is very powerful and doesnt have any say in what happens in her life or what anything like that.
2: 4. How does Peter, the Capulet’s servant provide a comic relief in this scene? He can't read and he is very spastic. He also tells Romeo about the party becuase he doesnt realize he is talking to a Montague. He even gets mad at his boss for giving him a sheet to read about who to invite to the party and so he yells at him. 5. Why does Romeo decide to crash the Capulet’s party? Does Shakespeare provide any foreshadowing? He wants to go because Rosaline will be there. We know that there is forshadowing beacuase
3: Act 1 Scene 3 1. How does Juliet feel about Marriage? She doesnt want to marry Count Paris. She wants to marry Romeo, but she will marry Paris if she has to. 2. Explain the Nurse She is very happy and often makes sick jokes. A nurse is like a maid. She makes jokes out of everything and she is fairly old.
