1: Alfred Stieglitz | Alfred Stieglitz was the son of a wool merchant. He was also born in Hoboken, New Jersey on January 1st 1864. Alfred's father sent him to Europe to complete his education. 12: During Alfred Stieglitz career he influenced many different aspects of art. He mainly influence the different styles and techniques of photography. He changed the way other people viewed photography and made them think it was an acceptable art form, and that not all art is painted or sculpted

13: Alfred Stieglitz had a number of heart attacks in the past but finally succumbed to a massive stroke on July 13, 1946. his wife Georgia had hastily returned from New Mexico and was at his side at the hospital when he died. She buried his ashes near the water at Lake George and then returned to Abiquiu until the end of November, perhaps to gather energy for the daunting task ahead: in 1937 she had been named Stieglitz's executrix
