We migrated north, living on the beach in Oxnard, California for four years before settling in the Sacramento Area where we have lived since 1993. I changed careers and went into the financial services industry as a chief financial officer for the last 10 years. Over the last 15 months, I have worked with disabled wartime veterans qualify for VA benefits enabling them to access much needed long-term care. I coached basketball for 15 years in junior HS and AAU. Four of my boys were on the local high school team that won the championship of the State of California in 2005 over powerhouse Mater Dei. I joined my youngest son in several local theatrical productions and was Officer Krupke in Westside Story and Coach Bolton in High School Musical. All of my kids are grown and my wife and I are raising our 4-year-old granddaughter. She is a kick to have around. I forgot how much energy these little kids have. I start most of my days out running and walking around a local lake. Usually 5-7 miles. It's a good thing since I need the energy to keep up with a 4 year old. Right now, I am working with Worldwide Child Relief Foundation to assist children in Nicaragua at an orphanage and school. Looking for work as many people are and am not sure where that will take us. We have lived in Sacramento for many years and have decided to relocate somewhere new and add to our life's adventures. 18: Jana Brokaw Marcum | Spouse/Other: Steve Marcum Email: jnmarcum@yahoo.com | Children/Grandchildren: Crystal, 28 & John (son-in-law) married to Crystal; Scott, 26; Todd, 24; Jacob, 19; Tyler, 16; Braden (step-son), 15; Jason, 7. Grandson, Jordan, 7 and one grandson in the oven :) | I was married the January after we graduated to John Kelly from Brigham City. We were married for 17+ years and had 5 children. We lived in Southern California for awhile but mostly in Utah. We were divorced in 2000. After the divorce, I moved to Springville, Utah and worked for a local corporation. In 2002 I remarried. My husband is an Idaho spud. He had one child from a previous marriage and though I tried to warn him that cute little ones turn into teenagers :)...he's kind of at the stage, you know the one, (my kids are never going to act that way, ha, ha.... )and wanted more so in 2005 we had a little boy of our own and he is pretty much in charge around here :). We will celebrate our 10th anniversary this year. Currently I am anticipating the birth of my second grandson. I am wondering if girls will ever again be born into this family....ha, ha. The baby has had the sense to be due on my birthday which is very exciting (this is also Dwight Goodwin's birthday so if that works out we will both be honored :)....hey, I will suggest the name...ha, ha). I am missing my son in Argentina on a mission terribly but am happy to have him there. I am surviving my 16 year old (kinda kidding :), and thoroughly enjoying my 7 year old. In between that and my other children, I am working hard at building a business that I started a few years after my last son was born. I put time in when I have it so it is slow going but that is the advantage of having your own business I guess. Sometimes it's frustrating but I am very happy to be able to have both a family and my business. People laugh when they hear I have a warehouse and drive a forklift. I don't think they can picture me driving around on that. I get a lot of funny looks from the truck drivers that show up to make deliveries... which I thoroughly enjoy...ha, ha :). In my spare time, which is time spent waiting in the car for kids to get done with whatever activity they are doing or late at night after they are gone to bed (and perhaps a few minutes in the bathroom library :), I enjoy reading anything about business and technology. I've been working with the scouts for many years now. Don't think they are ever letting me out of that job! That's what I get for having mostly boys but I do love them! I have had some tough times and it's good to be able to rely on the Lord to get through those. I am mostly a happy person and can see that I have been very blessed through it all. Life is good!I have enjoyed helping Carol and Lezlee with the reunion and want to thank them and all the others helping on the committee for their work. I sure am looking forward to seeing those that can make it to the reunion. You are all so great and look forward to staying in touch on Facebook in the future!

118: Lucinda Wheatley Woodland | Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Relief Society President, School District Clerk, Domestic Engineer, Nurse, Friend, Neighbor, Consultant, Coach, Athlete, Accountant, Teacher, World Traveler. You name it, I've done it. Married to Scott J. Woodland (BEHS Class of '78). We have been around the world and back and are currently enjoying Scott's retirement years in Montana. However, I have the privilege of continuing to work and am currently the District Clerk (CFO) for our local school district. We have 3 married children with kids, and 2 adult children still deciding what they want to be when they grow up (Actually, we are still deciding, too!), and my baby is a senior at Cascade High School. Our home is currently in Cascade, Montana, nestled at the mouth of the canyon (It reminds me a lot of my home in Brigham City!) coming out of the Big Belt Mountains along the Missouri River between Great Falls and Helena on I-15. Home to prime hunting and fishing grounds. Giving a year by year accounting of my life would take a lot of time (and, really, who wants to know anyway!) so suffice it to say that I am happy, loved, and have a greater appreciation for life and those I love than I have ever had. 30 years removed from High School has taught me how to be the person I probably should have been when I was in school. I am grateful for the memories made and hope to be able to make many more. | Email: lwoodland@cascade.k12.mt.us

121: Lynette Widdison | Children/Grandchildren Natasha, 25; Samantha, 24; Jacob, 22; Brandon, 17; Sons-in-law, Kirk & James; granddaughter, Charlie, 2 - | Address: 2541 N. 1000 E. Provo, UT 84604 | Phone: 801-691-1037 | Email: lynettewiddison@comcast.net | After high school, I went to the Tech that is now UVU in Orem, while attending school, I was able to work there as a lab assistant and also taught computer classes when the instructors could not make it in to work. During the summers I worked that the Water Slide at Willard Bay. After the Tech, I worked at American Express in Salt Lake until we had that 30 day inversion with no sun. So in 1984, I moved to sunny Southern California. Got a job at Tri-Star Pictures where I worked for the President and had some great experiences and met stars and key individuals in the industry. I had my first child, Natasha, in 1987, Samantha was born in 1988 and Jake was born in 1989. Moved back to Utah, got divorced -- worked at Thiokol. I volunteered for a lay-off, because I was moving back to California, but came back to Utah. I then worked at OCM to help laid off employees find jobs and met my second husband, and had Brandon, in 1994. I also worked at the Leader in Tremonton for a while. While going through my second divorce, I moved to Brigham City for a few years and then moved back to Willard, so my children went to Box Elder and were active in sports and other activities there. In 2009, I moved to Northern California and got a job working at a non-profit company in Moss Beach. I was the Humanitarian Mission Director. When the company moved their headquarters to DC, they asked me to move there to work. I lived four blocks up from the White House and worked just two blocks up. I was able to go in the White House twice, but never did meet the President. Had some incredible experiences and went to a few Congressional Hearings and Events -- met some Congressmen and Women, Ambassadors and other political players and that was fun. I helped develop their Human Trafficking training for Airline Personnel. This has also become a passion of mine to inform people about what it is. After budget cut backs and funding issues, I moved back to Utah in 2011 and am pursuing a lifelong dream of making great movies with good values in them and am meeting some incredible people here in the industry. | I am currently on the Board of Directors for Utah Women in Film as their CFO. I am also working on starting up a studio here and just working on getting funding behind that. I was able to host the presentations at the LDS Film Festival and also go to a couple of Utah Film Commission Events and participated up at Sundance this year. Going to be working with a director/producer and help him out for a while so it is exciting!
