3: Alagesia. Medieval
4: While all of Alagaesia is at war, Eragon and Saphira fight to overthrow the evil king, Galbatorix. While keeping his oath to his cousin, Roran, he attacks the city Helgrind. Katrina, Roran's betrothed, is locked away in one of the towers being held prisoners by the Ra'zac. Eragon already has a debt to settle with them, because they killed his uncle Garrow. The raid goes according to plan, and they rescue Katrina and kill the Ra'zac. They then return to Nasuada and Varden. Nasuada then gives Eragon the task of overseeing the crowning of a new dwarven king. He travels to Farthen Dur and oversees the crowning of Orik, while and assassination attempt is made on his life in the process. From
5: there, he and Saphira travel to meet with there elven teachers. Then they fly back to join the Varden. THe Varden then takes the city of Feinster, but it will be for nothing unless Eragon can kill Galbatorix. Theme: The theme of this story was just to provide something to entertain the reader. It isn't to teach about anything or anyone, but just to give something that the reader can enjoy.
6: Eragon- The last free dragon rider. Fights for the Varden to overthrow the king. Can control magic. | Saphira- Eragon's dragon. Can communicate through thought. Can control some magic. Fights for the Varden also.
7: Arya- Elf. Daughter of the elven queen. Fights for the Varden. Usually with Eragon. Stole Saphira"s egg in the beginning. | Roran- Lived in the Palancar valley until flushed out. Fights for the Varden. Eragons cousin. | Nasuada- Leader of the Varden. Cannot use magic. Friend to Eragon. Commands forces against the empire.
8: Katrina. rorans betrothed, is locked away in Helgrind. It is both internal and external because Roran is sad and the have to fight to get to her. | Eragon lost his sword to Murtagh and needs a new one. its is both internal and external because the sword was magic and apart of him and he needs one to fight with. | Murtagh and Thorn are trying to capture Eragon because they are loyal to the king. It is external because they have to kill them if they want to be able to reach to king
9: Eragon and Saphira need to kill Galbatorix. Its is external and internal because he causes fear and kills people throughout the empire.
10: Christopher Paolini has written the books Eragon, Eldest, and Brisingr. Currently he is working on the fourth book in the series, Inheritance. His love for science fiction and fantasy, along with living in Montana is what inspired him to write them.
11: I loved pretty much everything about this book. It's full of action and suspense, and if it would have been a movie, it would keep you on the edge of your seat the whole time. The only thing i didn't like was the way it jumped from character to character between chapters.
