1: Where is Chile? | What language do they speak there?

2: Chile is a country in South America. | It is a long, narrow coastal strip between the Andes mountains to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west

3: Spanish is the official language of Chile.

4: The national dance of Chile.

6: The Cueca was officially elected Chile's national dance on September 18, 1979.

7: 1906

9: The Cueca involves circles, semi circles along with other various curves and patterns.

10: We focused on Movement locomotor: walking, grapevine Space = direction: forward, turning

11: We chose to pair the students into boy/girl groups, but they were less than excited to work with each other.

12: We adapted with the second group and began instruction in one larger group. Then, we paired off, but this time Brad and Megan worked side-by-side with the students, as a pair from the beginning ...

13: ...While they were doing that, Jessica controlled the music and both, Jessica and Dawn circulated and gave verbal prompts and positive verbal feedback.

14: In the end, we all had a fun time and learned a lot

15: and learned that teaching 6th graders is more challenging than most people realize
