1: I will be telling you current events happening In Thailand and Indonesia since the year 2012. I will also include a map and flag of both.
2: For those of you who do not know where Thailand and Indonesia is. Here are some maps of them and their flags.
4: Thailand: Event:Chiang Mai Fest and Art on the street. | Earth Wind and Fire and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) joined hands to reintroduce the Chiang Mai Fest to the cultural surroundings of the Three Kings Monument from March 23rd April 7th to 2012. Mr. Yut Wanichanond, Consultant of Earth Wind and Fire, said "Following a much-hyped inaugural year in 2011 as a three-day event, the Chiang Mai Fest would return this year with 16 days of packed programs." and that “The Chiang Mai Fest 2012 will be even bigger, starting with the First International Street Painting Festival in Thailand."
5: In the Chiang Mai Fest there will be Street Paintings. That will bring in world-famous chalk painters such as Melanie Van Latum and Lysa Ashley from the USA and Tony Cuboliquido from Italy. The Chiang Mai Fest will also reintroduce the city’s first and only International Music Festival from April 6- 7. The event will feature world-class performances by international artists such as German contemporary singer Thomas Kiessling, South African opera - classic pop crossover male vocal group Il Quinto, American Blues and Soul revivalist band Blues Brothers and Thai musical maestro Neung Jakkawal. “This year, we expect the 16-day Chiang Mai Fest to attract over 35,000 local and international visitors and help to generate some 200-300 million baht in tourism-related revenue,” he added.

8: The Governor of the Bank of Thailand, Prasarn Trairatvorakul, has cited higher oil prices as a cause of higher inflation. However, inflation is now still manageable. Mr. Prasarn and other senior officials attended a meeting with Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to discuss the topic of higher prices for consumer products. On a longer-term perspective,the Bank of Thailand’s commitment to inflation-targeting framework. Since the adoption of a policy over 10 years ago, the framework has enabled monetary policy with some flexibility and credibility that has proved extremely valuable. Especially through trying times with high levels of uncertainty, the framework has made a bit of stability by helping to hold public expectations of monetary policy. "In delivering Thailand’s primary mandate of macroeconomic stability, inflation targeting will continue to be a central pillar. "
9: Indonesia Shows anger with sandals.
10: On January 3, 2012 Indonesia were steaming mad at a young boy because he stole a pair of $3 sandals.Why? Because Indonesia new symbol of frustration are sandal his high school teacher was whining to the court saying what the big deal about stealing some sandals anyways.Because of this horrible thing he had to go to 5 Dreadful year of prison and got beaten by 3 police officer. He is due to go to the court on January 4 2012.
11: In an add written on March 20, 2012 it said Police Kill 5 Suspects in Terrorist Ring In an overnight raid, the police shot and killed five men who were suspected of planning robberies of money changers, jewelers and other businesses in Bali so they could finance terrorist attacks, the national counterterrorism agency and the police said Monday.
