1: Don's Family Adventures | After years of school, Don is ready to graduate in the spring of 2005! Donald lives in Red Wing but enjoys time at home with his family. This book shows many of the things that Don does when he visits family. There are celebrations, hobbies, and fun times, just relaxing. Life is always an adventure for Donald!

12: Easter 2006 at our house in North Branch. What a beautiful day to celebrate and spend time outdoors. It looks like Donald was not quite finished with his afternoon snooze when we took pictures! | Our Easter Greeting "He is Risen!" "He is Risen, indeed!"
13: In August we took a trip to Pine City to enjoy some history! We stepped into the recreated world of 1804, where you can stop at the Ojibwe encampment and learn how the seasonal living of the Ojibwe changed when Europeans arrived. We met a fur trade clerk who explains the system of barter that moved beaver fur from the hands of Indian hunters onto the heads of fashionable Europeans. | FAMILY FIELD TRIP TO NORTHWEST COMPANY FUR POST!
14: We explore the Fort, seeing how they cook outdoors, make tools and we even get to sit inside a teepee! | Jean Claude is our guide, a fur trader who sits with us in the teepee to tell about his life.
15: Inside the trading post, we learn how the fur traders worked with the Ojibwe people to trap & trade furs at the post for things they may need. | Furs were traded to make beaver hats for important people. Dad is chosen to wear the hat and practice acting important. | Dad is doing well acting important. Beaver hats were very expensive and difficult to make.
16: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! DONALD IS 21 | Guess what we had for dinner? That's right! Tex-Mex Casserole, cake and ice cream!

35: August 7, 2009 Noah marries Kara Laabs on a cool summer afternoon...followed by a reception and the best dance ever! Donald now has a sister-in-law!

38: Christmas 2010 | We celebrate in Lino Lakes with G-ma & G-pa. We know this is G-pa's last Christmas. It is Adam's first Christmas with us. Don plays Santa & passes out the gifts at home in Omro, WI..

47: Don was not able to swim or tube because of his ear, but he took part in boat rides, campfires, games and fun wading AND canoeing at our Ham Lake. This is Adam's first time at the Lake. He married Kalinda in August 2010.
48: August 6, 2010 Kalinda marries Adam Peterson on a sunny summer day! Don is not able to come but is glad to have another brother-in-law!
49: Another Birthday celebrated in Oshkosh. Anna brings Don home. You guessed it. . . . we had Tex-Mex casserole. . . and cupcakes! There is time for some Wii bowling as well. | Don is 25!
50: Thanksgiving 2010 in Byron. | Donald is excited to meet Jeremiah Charles for the first time! He was born on October 11. Don has a turn holding his nephew. We share a great meal and have fun as we try to take family pictures.
52: HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2011 | Bowling in Red Wing is part of our New Year celebration. We have a good time! Donald did not come home for Christmas so he opens family presents too.
53: Easter Weekend Omro, Wisconsin | Hilary and Cory pick up Don for Easter weekend at home. Sorry is Don's favorite board game...even Rufus gets a turn!
54: New Kids on the Block! In August, Donald comes to Rochester to meet his new nephew, Mitchell Anthony, born June 19 AND new niece, Audrey Lauren, born August 7. What do you think Uncle Don? All of us take a long walk around Silver Lake. | 2011
55: October Break! Donald comes home for 9 days in October. He sees "Courageous", does home "funwork" projects, and plays with the dogs. No pictures until Anna came home & has a photo session in the cornfield!
