1: Period 9 | Table of Contents 2-3 Geography 4-5 Religion 6-7 Achievements 8-9 Politics 10-11 Economics 12-13 Society 14 Work Cited

2: The Elizabethan Era occurred in England between the 1500's and 1600's. The holy Roman Empire was also going on during this time. Around them were the Mediterranean sea and the Atlantic Ocean. | Geography

3: Many different nationals lived in Europe because it is divided into many different countries. Theses people included but were not limited to: English, Spanish, Austrian, Savoyard, French, and Danish. The bodies of water throughout Europe allowed for natural barriers but also extensive trade.

4: Religion | During the Elizabethan Era, Catholic ties were cut off and the people were protestant.

5: They believed in Witches and were superstitious. The people blamed the unexplainable on witches . They also blamed the witches for causing plagues and disease. | Religion

6: Achievements

7: In Elizabethan England dramas, comedies, and tragedies were the most common form of plays/ entertainment. The art included oil paintings. The printing press was also one of their biggest achievements.

8: Politics

9: During the Elizabethan Era, there were three changes of religion. Catholic and then Protestant but while this was going on they were still under the rule of Queen Elizabeth.

10: Economics | The social classes were extremely important during the Elizabethan Era. The amount of food your family had was based on your standing in the social class.

13: Society | The people in Elizabethan England had a high regard for family. It was one of the most important things there were. The women had no right which was normal for the time period. They also prayed often and read the bibles. Education was important so that they could read the bibles.
