Once upon a time in Manhattan, New York, there lived a girl named Rapunzel, who was locked on the top floor of the Empire State Building by a witch. She hoped that someone would save her from the evil, make-up obsessed witch, Georgia.

One day, a movie star named Franky was riding in his limo with the windows down. When he drove past the Empire State Building, he heard the most beautiful singing. He told the driver to stop and looked to where the singing was coming from. Up at the top of the building, looking out from a window and singing, was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen!

Franky was very curious about the girl so he went back to the Empire State Building. He saw an old lady looking up and shouting, "I'm coming up!" He thought that the old woman might be talking to the beautiful girl, so he followed her inside.Franky saw her hold up a pass to the security guard, and she was able to cut in front of everyone in line for the elevator!

The next day Franky came back again. He came early in the morning, and waited until the lady came back. She was wearing lots of makeup and pajamas. "Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair!" she shouted. "Use the elevator, Georgia! How many times must I remind you!" Rapunzel shouted down to her. " Oh, dear me! I'm still used to the first Rapunzel, I keep forgetting." Then she looked at her clothes and said, "Oh no, that simply won't do!" Then she waved her hand and her pajamas turned into a fancy outfit..

"She must be a witch! And that Rapunzel fairytale must be true!" Franky said. As soon as Georgia had gone inside, Franky went to the spot where Georgia had been standing. "Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair!" he shouted. "I just told you to use the," Rapunzel looked down, "wait, you're not Georgia!" "No, I'm not, My name is Franky. I heard you singing! If this is anything like the fairytale, let your hair down to me!" Franky exclaimed. Rapunzel started to reply, but then Georgia walked in and she quickly closed the window.

As soon as Franky saw Georgia getting into a taxi and leaving, he went back to where he could talk to Rapunzel. She looked down at him and said, "Sadly, this is not like the fairy tale. My hair isn't long." Franky looked closer and saw that she was right. Her hair came down to right above her shoulders. "Then how will I save you?" He asked. "Don't worry," she said, "I have a plan. Come back at midnight tonight."

So that night he waited outside the Empire State building until midnight. "Rapunzel, Rapunzel are you there?" Franky shouted. "Franky, is that you?" Rapunzel shouted down. "Yes, now can you please tell me your plan?" She didn't respond, but after a few minutes something landed on the ground next to him. He picked it up and saw it was the pass Georgia had used to get in! On the other side there was a note.

Franky read the note. It said, "Franky- it won't be long until she notices it's gone! If you figure out the right time to come up, then you can save me!" "How will I figure out the right time?" Franky wondered aloud. "Oh, well thats easy!" said a voice. Franky spun around and saw three old ladies smiling at him. "What do I do then?" Franky asked them, and who are you?"

"We are fairy godmothers!" They said together "Its easy," another one said, "Just come at midnight!" "Um, it is midnight." Franky replied. "Then up you go!" the last one said. So, Franky went inside, and even though it was midnight, there was still a long line! He showed the pass, and went up to the top floor. "Rapunzel!" he exclaimed. "Hurry!" Rapunzel cried.

Franky and Rapunzel ran out of the building and into the street, where Franky's limo was waiting. They got in and drove away. "You saved me!" said Rapunzel. "Thank you!" They got married and lived happily ever after, and Georgia was never heard from again.
