FC: Madison and Steven's Famous People Throughout History | By Madison Whaley and Steven Williams

1: Hello my name is Madison Whaley and my partners name is Steven WIlliams. We are doing this book for a project in technology. Our project was to write pages about famous people throughout history. I Madison Whaley am doing these following people: John Adams, Cleopatra, Albert Einstein, Ann Meyer, Barack Obama, and Elvis Presley. Steven Williams is doing the following people: Micheal Jackson, Steven Jackson, Ben Jay, Martin Luther King Jr, and Two Pock. Have fun looking through our book!

2: John Adams John Adams was the 2nd president of the united states. He was born on October 19,1735 in the state of Massachusetts. Adams graduated college from Harvard in 1755. He was a very intelligent man! Later, Adams began to oppose British legislation by starting with the Stamp Act. Adams was on of the three people who signed the Treaty of Paris. When he returned to America he was elected first vice-president under George Washington, Adams severed two years. In 1796 he sided with Federalist Party and was elected president. Adams later retired and settled back in his home town. He died on July 4, 1826. (Madison Whaley)

4: Cleopatra Cleopatra is an ancient queen. in Egypt. Her story of love and death was very famous as she ruled Egypt. Cleopatra was born in 69 BC in Alexandria. She was the third daughter in line of her father. She later had a younger sister and two younger brothers.. Cleopatra's story is the most famous story ever. Not only because of great love, because she was deeply in love with Egypt. Cleopatra came to throne after the death of her two older sisters. She reigned in 51 B.C. Cleopatra had her own personality which people liked. (Madison Whaley)

6: Albert Einstein | Albert Einstein was a scientist. He was in Wurttemburg, Germany, on March 14,1879. Albert trained to be a teacher in physics and mathematics. In 1905 he obtained his doctors degree. In 1909 he became Professor Extraordinary at Zurich. Albert became a German citizen in 1914. In 1933 he emigrated to America to take the position of a Professor of Physics. He became an American Citizen in 1940. He retired from his post in 1945. After World War 2 he was a leading figure of the World Government Movement. Albert Einstein died on April 18, 1955 at Princeton, New Jersey.

8: Micheal Jackson | Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009). Was an American recording artist, dancer, singer-songwriter,and philanthropist. Referred to as the King of Pop, Jackson is recognized as the most successful entertainer of all time by Guinness WorldRecords.His contribution to music, danceThe eighth child of the Jackson family, he debuted on the professional music scene along with his brothers as a member of The Jackson 5.

10: Steven Jackson | Jackson was drafted 24th overall in the 2004 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Rams. The Rams swapped picks with the Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Bengals to get Jackson. Denver traded Deltha O'Neal to Cincinnati for their first round pick. Then, St. Louis traded up to Cincinnati's selection to grab Jackson while the Bengals chose Chris Perry to replace the departed Corey Dillon, who was traded to the New England Patriots.

12: Ben Jay | New Boyz is a jerkin crew and hip-hop/rap duo made up of rappers Earl "Ben J" Benjamin and Dominic "Legacy" Thomas from Hesperia, California. The song peaked in the top thirty of the Billboard Hot 100, and it was the first song to bring the jerkin' style to the national forefront.

14: Martin Luther King Jr | Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is considered the formative figure in the modern fight for civil rights, and his legacy looms large in the work of all those who follow him in his cause. Dr. King's involvement with the NAACP dates back to his position on the executive committee of the NAACP Montgomery Branch in the 1950's, through his leadership in the various boycotts, marches and rallies of the 1960's, and up until his assassination in 1968. In 1957 the NAACP awarded him the Spingarn Medal, its most prestigious honor. Dr. King pushed America to fulfill its promise of equal rights for all. We honor his life and his legacy by recommitting ourselves to keeping his dream alive.

16: Ann Meyer | Ann Meyer was a famous basketball player. She takes her Hall of Fame award new limits. Ann has eight enshrinements. One of them is the Woman's Basketball Hall Of Fame. Ann also, lettered in seven different sports. As a college player she made the Kodak All-American team for each of her four years of college. She is a Broderick Cup athlete and a Olympic Medallist. She was noticed for being the first high schooler to ear a spot on the U.S national basketball team. Ann was the first woman to receive a basketball scholarship to UCLA. She was also the first woman to be nominated for induction to the Basketball Hall Fame.

18: Barack Obama Barack Obama is the current president of the United States.He is the 44th president of the United States President. Obama was born in Hawaii on August, 4 1961. He was raised with help from his grandfather. He worked his way through college with the help of scholarships and loans. After college he moved to Chicago to help work with church's to rebuild communities. He then went to law school and became the first African American president of Harvard Law Review. His years of public service are based on the ability to unite people with politics of purpose.Obama then became the Illinois State Senate. On November, 4 2008 he became the president of the United States.

22: Elvis Presley Elvis Presley was born in Mississippi, on January 8,1935. He and his parents moved to Tennessee in 1948. Elvis graduated from Humes High School in 1953. In 1954 began a singing career with the legendary Sun Records label in Memphis. In 1955 his recording contract was sold to RCA Victor. By 1956 he was a international sensation. Elvis stared in 33 successful films, and made history with television appearances. Globally he sold over 1 million records. More than any other artist. He got nominated for 14 Grammy awards and won 3 of them. Elvis dies in his Memphis home on August 16,1977.
