FC: Future Plans By: Joe Shell
Hi, I am Joe Shell, this is my Mixbook on the career I plan on choosing after high school. It includes the money I need for college and what kind of education I need.
The main career I plan on choosing is Mechanical Engineering. The college I plan on attending is Auburn University. Here is a chart showing the costs of this college. Tuition: $7,900 Book and Supplies: $1,100 Room: $9,630 Other: $4,856 Sub-Total: $23,486 4-year Total: $93,944
The everyday tasks for this job is normally designing mechanical equipment, machines, components, products for manufacture, and systems for construction. It also comes along with studying functional statements, organizational charts, and project information to determine functions and responsibilities of workers and work units to identify areas of duplication. My weekly earnings from this job could be around $1610.
Mechanical engineering jobs are high in demand and there are many options for the person with the right skills and education. Last year there were about 1.6 million jobs open for mechanical engineers so that would mean this is a great job to choose as far as availability in the working world.
Even though this job requires a good deal of education for it, my chances on getting a job such as this would be very high. The reason for this is because it is a job that would never fail to exist, in other words there will always be a job that requires a mechanical engineer.
I plan on living in Panama City, Florida after college. The reason I want to live here is for the fun and entertainment that goes on there, it would be a great place for kids with the ocean near us and the amusement parks around us also. Here are some pictures of the land I plan on buying. The price for the land is around 24,00.
Since I plan on buying the land on the previous page I intend on building a house with 3 bedrooms and at least 3 baths. Also I will be looking for a 2 story house or one with a basement. Here are some blueprints for the house I plan building for the lot I'm buying.
Here is a sketch of the finished house I am building. The final price of building the house should be around $180,000 in the area I will be living in.
I plan on purchasing a 2011 Chevy Camaro for $31,798. The payment options will run it for $473.89 a month for 60 months.
