1: There was many causes for the Great Depression. The Great depression was caused by people borrowing money that they did not have. It was also caused by people playing the market. The stock market crash of 1929 also played a big role in the great depression. Also, banks went out of business. People got scared and stopped purchasing items which made it worse. Therefore, work
2: production was low and people lost their jobs.
3: The Great Depression lasted from 1929 until 1939. The starting point of the Great Depression is usually listed as October 29, 1929 commonly known as Black Tuesday.
4: It was hard during the Great Depression. The stock market crashed, people didn't have any money, and had to eat at soup kitchens and stand in long breadlines. Many farmers lost their farms.This caused the dust bowls which were when crops did not grow. People couldn't really live because they didn't have any supplies or money. Many people ended up living homeless.
7: Most people were affected by the Great depression. It affected everyone world wide. The poor were affected the hardest. If you were a wealthy person it might not have been that bad because they were able to keep their house and live comfortably. The working person was affected greatly because most of them lost their jobs. Germany had the most unemployed rates.
9: The reason the Great Depression ended was because of the New Deal when Franklin Roosevelt was elected president.The new deal created 42 agencies designed to create new jobs. World War 11 also created jobs because people had to be hired to make supplies for the war.
