BC: Meg and Beth goofing off at the end (: Thank you for looking! I hope it wasn't too awful!

FC: Honors Drama Project 2011 Makeup Melissa Huggins

Table of Contents: -Things to know - Classic Stage Makeup - Elderly Person - Animal (A Bear) - Scarred - Fantasy/Fairy Princess

Things to remember about makeup/this particular project : - Make sure your face is completely clean and washed off before you begin to apply the makeup - Be sure to have all of your tools ready for use, and make sure that they are all clean - I am not very good at makeup, as I learned through this process, but I did try my best!

Stage Makeup | Model: Meg Cook | First start with a clean face just like Meg's. | Then apply the creme skin color base provided in the Ben Nye kit. It looks a little bit orange-y.

After the base, add blush to your cheeks; make sure that you blend it some with the creme foundation. | Following the blush, add shadows to the eyelids -- (they're hard to see in this image.) | Finally, after the blush and the shadows have been added, complete the stage makeup with eyeliner and mascara

Elderly Makeup | First, start with the simple stage makeup like you did previously. After that, you can start the aging process using the same Ben Nye kit as before.

After the stage makeup is put on, use the "highlight" color to mark all the places that wrinkles would naturally appear on you or your model's face.

After you use the highlight, go back over those same lines and use the "shadow" color to darken them. Place these lines adjacent to the "highlight" lines.

After you've added both of these lines, you want to blend them or smear them together to create an even look. Now you have officially made an old person! Yay!

Animal Face - Bear | First we started with a bear mask purchased at a local costume shop, with her makeup being just eyeliner no mascara and a clean face.

Next we used brown liquid costume makeup for her face, to make it even with the mask and to make her look more like a bear

After we were finished with the brown, we added black and white liquid paint from the same company to give depth and make it look more like whiskers and fur on her face. Then we were done!

Scarred Makeup | For the scarred makeup, use liquid scar gel - apply to clean skin and then add more if it's needed. | We started with Meg's clean face and went from there.

First - put the scar gel where you want on the skin, let it dry, and then reapply to add depth and a larger scar.

Here are the other scars that were on the left side of Meg's face. (I got a little scar happy when applying the gel)

Next: add a little pink and red from a bruise kit (by Ben Nye) onto the scars to make them look more realistic. | Then add a little brown and blend all the colors together and you're done.

The final outcome, where you can see both sides of the face and the scarring.

 Fantasy Makeup - Fairy Princess

For the fairy princess makeup, start with a blank face using the creme base stage makeup, and then start doing whatever fantasy look you want.

For this, I used a pink creme makeup pencil on the sides of her face around the eyes, then darkened her eyebrows.

Next I added glitter around the eyes to give her a more fairy princess look, and added more pink on her face.

After the glitter, I used black creme base to create a feather look for her eyeliner and at the corner of her eyes. I did this on both sides.

Detail of the "feather" eyeliner on the side of her face.

Finally, with the use of one of Beth's wigs and her prom tiara, Meg has been transformed into a pretty fairy princess!
