1: Adena Indians lived in Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia, Kentucky, and parts of Pennsylvania and New York. The Adena Indians were around from 1,000 B.C. to 1 A.D.

2: Adena Indians used rags and animal skins for their clothing. - Elizabeth Lawrence

3: Archaeologist have not found anything on Adena writhing or how they would communicate. | Lot's of artifacts were found from the Adena Indians. Some of the food untensils they had were Spoons made from marine conch, bones were used for shrp tools for cutting, and made other things from stone to use to eat. | stones | bones | marine conch

4: Other artifacts that were found were tools and weapons. Some of these tools and weapons are axes, slap like stones used as hoes, and 1 other on is bones used for small tools. | The axes were used for chopping, cutting, and other things. The hoes were used for farming. The small tools were used for making jewelry and so forth. | Stone | Axes | Bones

5: Deer | The Aden Indian hunted many animals | Black Bear | Beaver | Trumpeter Swan | porcupine | woodchuck | Turkey | Ruffed Grouse

6: The Adena Indians were Farmers. | Sunflowers | Squash | Goosefoot | Pumpkin

7: Archaeologist have no certain idea of what the shelters looked like when the Adena Indians were around so they believe it was like little hut of sticks, grass, leaves, and etcetera.

8: A conical mound is the oldest from of know mound building. It is believed that the Adena Indians were the ones that came up with this type of mound.
