1: 10 reasons why it is important to read to children : 10. It is fun and relaxing for everyone. 9. It is a good habit to instill. 8. Encourages communication between parent and child. 7. 2: As a children I have been for the most part forced to read. I had daily visits to Chicago Public Library, I enrolled every year in the, Summer Reading Program, and had to sign up for Read-A-Thon during school year | Childhood Reading at Home and School
3: Not many books at home Loved Rainbow Fish (don't know why) Loved story time during school.
5: I loved to read about children. I had to relate to it. Mom was a big promoter of reading. She read to me frequently at the library. Hated books that dealt with history or any social studies Loved Cam Jansen
