2: What do journalists do? Journalists are a kind of reporter. They write non-fiction events that are currently happening in their country/city or the world, then they put it into the newspaper or on the Internet to allow people to read about it and understand whats happening around them. Journalists sometimes also write about celebrity gossip as well.
3: What skills do journalists need? A journalist need to have: - communication skills - writing skills - people skills - inquiry skills - the urge to know more - understanding - non-judgmental - needs to be able to spell quite well - know how to take important notes - good use of words
4: When are journalists needed? Journalists are needed when there is a interesting story to write about such as a fund-raising events, crime committed e.t.c, when there is a global event happening, when there is a once in a blue moon event going on or when there is something the reader would like to read about. a journalist is also needed when there is a Celebrity.
5: How do you become a journalist? To become a Journalist, first you will have to be able to write well. then, you will need to have a educations. Most journalists have, at the least, a bachelor's degree in English, communications or journalism. when you've got your education, next, you will need to find a job. you could first try local newspaper, magazines or other form of media.
6: Whats the history of journalism? The first published newspaper in English was the Oxford Gazette which first appeared in 1665. It began writing about the black plague and how to avoid it. It was published twice a week. Since then, newspapers has been published regularly in London.
7: How would journalism change in the future? Maybe in the future, there will new technology such robots to take notes, touch screen computers, faster cars to get you to the scene so you can get the hot goss before other reporters. Or maybe the future newspapers will colored or maybe people can have a electronic pad and every week, it updates into the new issue of the newspaper.
8: FACTS ABOUT JOURNALISM: - journalism is one of the most highly paid jobs around. - breaking news will be on-line before its on T.V - Disasters and attacks in the middle of the City will be discovered first by non-journalists. - cell phones are the primary reporting tools.
