I choose this symbol because my friend Luella has a form of childhood cancer. She really means a lot to me. | This represents my family because I love them most of the time and they are a huge part of my life.

Everyone in my family enjoys golfing so it is something that I can do with everyone and have fun with my family | My family is Lutheran and we believe in the values that it teaches.

Respect | In my family it is very important to be respectful to the rest of our family and to everyone around you. | Kindness | Accountable | Same as respect, being kind to others is important because if you are not kind to others, they will not be nice back to you. | Being accountable for your actions is very important because it shows that you are passionate and have respect for people around you.

In the summer my whole family goes to Brewer games once or twice a week. It is something that we always do during the summer and it's very fun for my family. | Every night my mom cooks all of us dinner and we eat as a family.

A huge part of my material culture is my phone. It allows me to stay up to date on a lot of things that are going on and to communicate with my friends, distant and close, and family. | Even though it is not all that healthy, I enjoy being tan especially in the winter because it makes me feel better and during competitions it looks a lot better on stage.

Another huge part of my culture is cheerleading and competing. Being able to perform here every year in Dallas is really fun and a great accomplishment to be able to compete against the best teams in the country. Surprisingly speaking in front of a class scares me way more than this.

My family is dutch but we don't really hang on to these traditions except around holidays we incorporate a few things in. On St Nicks day me and my sister put out our wooden clogs and St Nick (or my mother) fills them up with candy.

My family and I go to Florida every year. When I was little it used to be just for vacation but, when I started to cheer in fourth grade we would have to travel down there every year for a competition so it has become a very fun vacation either way for our entire family.
