1: This picture journal is used to document the fascinating ideas and strategies that I have found in kindergarten classrooms
2: I really liked the set up of this area because there was a calendar that the daily helper got to do, a weather board, and star words. On the floor there were tape spots so each student knew where to sit. | The circle time and morning meeting area.
3: Pocket Chart | The pocket chart can be used to spell words and create songs or word sentences.
4: Word White Board | The white board can be used to practice star words, list alphabet letters and other important news.
5: Center Time Chart | The center time chart is a great way for students to keep track of which center they are suppose to be at.
6: Nap and Circle time area | This area is used for rest time. It is also used for their movement and circle time activities.

8: The sink area and bathroom area are located within the classroom. | Classroom Setup | Work tables
9: Reading Corner | The reading corner and letter flip chart are in a quiet corner. The set up is comforting and blocked in for reading purposes.
10: Calendar Time | During calendar time it is also a good time to keep track of the weather and months of the year.

12: Daily Schedule | Posting a daily schedule can help students stay on track and know what is coming up next.
