3: Axes were used for many different tasks during medieval times. They were cheaper than swords therefore easy weapons. | Some axes were weilded one handed while other required both hands to use. Somtimes axes were designed for throwing as well.
5: Swords were used a lot during medieval times and were usually the weapon of choice. They were easy to | use and not hard to carry. Most swords were made to be used one handed although there were a few | during medieval times that were two handed. Swords were used everywhere in the navy, in calvary's, and on foot.
6: Armor protected knights from other's weapons. Chain mail and hard metal armor were used for full body cover. Shields were also used to protect the knight against swords.
