FC: My adventurous journey through the body. | By Harsimran Singh | Blood Types
Hi, my name is simran i am one of the 30 trillion red blood cell or for short RBC in your body. Today i will tell you about my journey through your body. We are formed in your bone marrow. We have many jobs in your body but one of my main job is to transport oxygen through out your body.
I get started in the left atrium from where i carry oxygen to transport it at different places in the body.
From there i will go through a valve that connects left atrium to the left atrium and left ventricle. The valve will open and close to get me through.
From the heart i will go to the lungs where i will let go the oxygen. And i will get new oxygen from the lungs.
Now i am in aortic valve. I am still oxygen rich. I am on my way to aorta. | Here i am in the aorta i still have the oxygen. From here i will get pumped through out the body.
Now i am going through the arteries and veins through out the body supplying oxygen rich blood through out the body.
I am now traveling through veins. But now i am oxygen poor so i will go back to the right atrium.
