FC: Scrapbook of My Journey
1: I have alway wanted to learn more about my religion taught in the way s of Judaism. I pray every day and I enjoy praying. The barbed wire came and it was brought by the Germans. No one is mad because every one feels that it separates our town from the rest of the world and keeps us safe. Then the newest law was passed and it was that all Jews had to wear a star. Still no one said anything because my father finds nothing wrong with them, "they aren't lethal." We have to depart from our town and we are only allowed to bring one backpack per person The first round of people left two days ago and it is now our turn. We long for water for the sun is so hot, and the Germans make us run and run, I am building up more hatred for them every minute.
2: We were packed into the train car so tightly that no one could sit our rest. everything we owned was taken every watch or piece of jewelry we have. The were wearing us like a pair of old shoes. There was one woman her name is Mrs. Schachter who screamed about fire and flames and that they were going to burn her and everyone. At first everyone tried to comfort her, but after a couple of cries they began to beat her and make her stop by gagging her. Once we finally reached where our destination the smell of burnt flesh filled our noses and we realized that this was no vacation.
