BC: THE END
FC: Parkour | by | Colin
1: Parkour is a physical discipline that teaches how to move around obstacles efficiently by vaulting, rolling, climbing, and jumping. Obstacles could be a wall, a rail, a bench,or even a lamppost. Almost anything in your urban environment is considered an obstacle. Parkour is even used in many militaries, including the United States Marine Corp.
2: Vaulting | In this picture I am doing a speed vault. A speed vault is a running vault where you place one hand on an obstacle and jump sideways over it. You finish the vault running.
3: Rolling | In this picture I am about to do a roll. A roll breaks the fall when you are dropping from something. It is mainly used for very long drops, so you do not damage anything.
4: Climbing | In this picture I am doing a climb-up. A climb-up is when you push your foot off of a wall to grab onto the top of it. Then you pull yourself up and over the wall.
5: Jumping | In this picture I just landed from a jump. A jump is when you jump and land on the object with the front of your foot. This helps you balance. It also gets you ready for another jump.
