2008, http:// www.worldviewofglobalwarming.org, This is such an important picture for because it opens up everyones eyes as to what the world is turning into because of global warming. Global warming does have a social impact in a way that it effects on how we live, what we can live with and what we can live without .
1990's, time magazine in Berlin, Germany, http://www.time.com/time/daily/special/photo/berlin1/9.html This picture of a person trying to knock the berlin wall down represents the willpower for freedom. this moment was very significant to Germany because the Germans were no longer separated by something physical. They were allowed to come together and be a country as a whole.
1952, http://search.ebay.com/segregation This picture is a prime example of how we treated our fellow man in the past. Most whites in the south did not like the blacks, but there were some whites that were ready for a change. Why is society so slow to change with social issues? I have always wondered that.
1989, http:///www.adn.com/evos/pgs/ev-photos.html This picture of this event opened up the eyes of the ramifications of a disaster on mother nature. The oil spill of the Exxon-Valdez effected so much wildlife and it has still effected the growth of wildlife to this day.
September 11th 2001, www.911peace.org/links.html This event opened our nations eyes to the evil that lurks in the shadows, and it also made our nation believe more in itself. The events that heppened on this day will be remembered by everyone. Our nations spirit was reborn on this day. What does this picture make you feel? Anger? Sadness? Pity? Or a sense of patriotism that we would never let this happen again.
