2: Before leaving to go to your bus stop, its important to brush your teeth, get dressed, put deoderant on, comb your hair, eat a healthy breakfast, get your backpack ready, take your lunch box and leave five minutes early so you won't be late!

3: While walking to the bus stop, be aware of your suroundings, pay attention to anything that seems different or strange.

4: Be aware of dogs and try to avoid them.

5: Walk on the side walk at all times. If you have to walk across the street, be sure to look both ways and use caution. Don't wonder away from your usual path. | Be sure to walk on the side of the road or on the side walk at all times. If you have to cross the street be sure to look both ways. Don't stay away from your origional path.

6: When you get to the bus stop, stand on the sidwalk or on a driveway. Do not run around in the street or in people's yards while you are waiting.

7: Keep your hands to yourself. No pushing, shoving, or fighting at the bus stop.

8: When the bus comes, do not go into the road until the bus has completely stopped, the red stop sign is out, and the bus driver looks at you and the other children.

9: When getting on the bus, you should form a single file line to board the bus. Wait patiently to get on the bus. No pushing or shoving!!!

10: Once you are on the bus, find an open seat and sit down.

11: While in your seat, let a good amount of body space between you and the person you're sitting with.

12: THE BUS RULES Obey the driver's instructions when first requested

13: Remain seated.

14: Respect others and their property.

15: Keep your hands to yourself.

16: Keep noise level down.

17: While on the bus, be kind and share with your friends.

18: Remember to always be respectful to the adults on the school bus.

19: Once you get to school, form another single file line to get off the bus. Wait your turn getting off and be careful! The steps can be steep! And remember: no pushing of shoving!!!
