FC: Bobby Lighterio's Jornal | By:Rob Gailor | Don't be afraid to and

Welcome to a Jewish German Journal that will tell you what I thought about during the immigration process with me and my mother.

 I took some pictures

This isn't bad | And | Happy Page

20/12 1924 Dear Journal, I lived in Germany. Leaving my home of Germany I was being treated so unfair because of being Jewish, Adolf Hitler was the leader and I had to wear a star on what ever I wore.Made me want to cry a lot. Sincerely, Bobby Lighterio

 >I was looking for her

22/12 1924 Dear Journal, Adolf came back from being in prison for a year and made me work for him on a regular day basis and made me rub his feet. When he wanted his feet to rest he made me get on his hands and knees and have his dirty feet on my back. That night I heard that I had to pack just one bag I thought I needed more but,I was really happy to leave. My friend Gunter is my best friend,we have to separate,I will miss him and I won't even say good bye.It was terrible Sincerely, Bobby Lighterio

 o wonderful to leave!!

23/12 1924 Dear Journal, When I got on the boat,my back hurt because of the night before, my dad didn't get separated with me, well he did a few years ago when he tried to defend me because Adolf was whipping me and tried to punch Hitler but, Hitler pulled a knife on him and he killed my father right in front of me.It was terrifying.I was happy about going to in the United States. Sincerely Bobby Lighterio

 Freedom

24/12 1924 Dear journal, When I started getting my bags unpacked,I heard "Lunch time!"When I got there I saw something that I never saw before.I heard from another person that it was a thing called pizza. It tasted horrible.I didn't eat for 3 days.I will be here for 6.

26/12 1924 Dear journal, I saw the sign of happiness. The Statue of Liberty,I don't think Americans appreciate the Statue enough. Some people probably think she is weird lady standing when she was my sign of freedom. After seeing her we had all our stuff packed up and headed up the hall of stairs. My mother tripped thankfully they didn't see her. Then we walked to get our name approved and they changed my last name from Lighterio to just Light,I had a whole new life ahead of me. . Sincerely Used to be Lighterio but, Bobby Light

He is the one who killed my father but,now I don't need to think of him again.
