2: Act 2, Scene 2 What happens? My favorite scene from Romeo & Juliet is Act 2, Scene 2. In this scene, Romeo and Juliet have just met. Romeo comes to her window to see her. Romeo is spying on Juliet's secret thoughts. He hears everything that she's saying about him. Romeo starts to comment on what she has said and he startles her. Towards the end of the scene, they realize their love for each other and decide to get married.
5: Why do I like it? | The reason why I like this scene is because it’s sweet. Two “star-crossed lovers” fall deeply in love with each other. They know that once they are found out about, they will both be banished or killed. This scene really shows how much love Romeo and Juliet have for each other. They don’t care about their last names. All they care about is each other. That’s what makes this scene special.
6: How would I direct it? If I were able to direct this scene, not much would change. One part that I would change is the fact that Juliet and Romeo decide to get married so early. This isn’t really necessary. They could’ve at least waited a few days before making such a huge decision. I would have made them wait for three days before getting married. I would have made Romeo wait two days before proposing to her. After that, they could go to Friar Laurence and ask to be married. Then, Friar would marry them and they can be happy. Basically, I would have made everything go a lot slower.
9: Romeo's scrapbook page "Is love a tender thing? it is too rough, Too rude, too boisterous, and it pricks like thorn." “Ay, mine own fortune in my misery” "O dear account! my life is my foe's debt." "Can I go forward when my heart is here? " "He jests at scars that never felt a wound. "
