3: St Vincent's parish was established in April 1894. The building of the church was completed in 1895. Then on the 25th of November 1895 St Vincent's Church was finally blessed and opened. In 1909 after a few additional requirements to the church like paintings and religious ornaments the church opened and celebrated with what is called a Solemn High Mass held by Cardinal Moran.

Fr. Walsh visited people in jail for over three years to comfort them and be by their side before he became a priest, His motivation to become a priest was because he had the stimulated miond of aiding people in difficult situations. He was then ordained in 1974.

9: Ministries for any age: 13 year olds: At this day in age , children don't want to be forced into a religious life, instead of forcing them, they can be apart of a Youth Ministry with teenagers much like themselves learning about the scriptures. An alternative is to become apart of the Music Ministry to express musical talent at such an age in a parish puts a smile on many faces. 21 year olds: Catechist-At this age a young adult, can express in their way the good word of the lord to children who are unfortunate and cannot afford a religious education. 40 year olds: Eucharistic Ministers-At this age people would like to follow the footsteps of Jesus and distribute his and body and blood to others.

10: A scripture in the bible which reflects St Vincents Parish... | The story of when Jesus washes the disciples feet. Jesus gives the idea of service, we as a parish are servicing others. After Jesus tended to his disciples he questioned them and said: "Do you understand what i have done to you?" We as Christians should do the same and follow the footsteps of Jesus and learn to serve and appreciate others as Jesus did to his disciples. Jesus had the power, it was his obligation as the one with power to "serve others." Jesus also conveyed that he was cleansing them metaphorically; cleaning them physically, emotionally and spiritually. As the teacher and the Lord, Jesus performed an act that was only completed by servants in his time. Jesus wanted to convey to his disciples to think of others first.
