2: What does the State Legislature do? -Make Laws for the citizens of Georgia. -Pass bills for Georgia -To be in the Representative, you have to be at least 21 years of age. -To be a Senator you must be at least 25 years of age.
3: How do you become a member of State Legislature? -They have to be approved by the state. -People and legislature have to vote for them. (political process) Extra Facts -A bill becomes an "act" or "law" when passed by both houses in identical form and signed by the governor of Georgia.

5: When are members of legislature voted on? Citizens vote every 2 years for members of Georgia's State Legislature.
6: Fun Facts!!! -The primary thing that the state legislature does is make laws. -Some of the additional things that the legislature do are taxes and representing the state of Georgia. -In order for a bill to be passed it must go through both houses of legislature. The second house may make adjustments to the bill, and then the bill goes back to its original house and finally the house can decide to refuse it or pass it.
