This book is deticated to Mr. Stern who insipes me to do my best and to work hard and love school. Mr. Stern teaches me things that are very important and i am going to need everyday for the rest of my life. His subject is the most important of them all, because when i am 40 and working at my job i am going to need to know the forms of propaganda.
This book is an interesting novel about a man (Dr. Beck) who loses his wife because she was kiddnapped early in their marraige. Years latter discovers that his wife really was not kiddnapped she ran away to ecscape her death. During the book Elizibeth tries to comunicate with Beck and give him sighns that she is still alive but without letting those who are trying to kill her know. The people who want to kill her work for a wealthy billionaire whos son died a year before Elizibeths fake death. The reason they want her dead is because they belive she helped the person who really kid their son out. During the book the billionaire ends up dieing and Elizibeth comes out of hidding. She has been hidding all along and has had her dad help her out and give her money. When she comes back this makes the others who worked for the billionaire mad and they feel the need to complete what he never did. So when they go out to kill her her father is tipped of and heads out to interfer. Her father kills on of the men and the other shots her dad its a dramtic ending scene and then Beck decideds to kill the man who killed Elizebeth's dad.
Dr. Beck Dr. Beck is a mid age doctor who owns his own office in downtown manhattan. Dr. Beck is a really down to heart guy he is always kind and opens his wallet to people in need. He also helps his patiants to the best of his abillty. Most of Dr. Becks patiants know him and have been going there for a while so they just call him Beck. Beck is the main character in the book. He is also played out as the good guy of the story trying to find and rescue his wife. Beck overcomes many struggles in this book and faces challenegs he would not have been able to deal with in the begininng of the story. This charactor reminds me of someone who would be considered a nerd growing up. It seems like he is not really out going and likes to keep to himself. This may have been a result in his wife's death he became like this or he has always been this way.
I think probably the quote in this book that was important was the qoute by Beck "we must find her." That was when the aesrch got started and everyone that was close to the familey was looking and trying to help find her. Even cops put her on one of their top priorities because they think she might be an important link to more crimes.
The thing I liked most about this book is how you never know what will happen next. it is very interesting and probably one of the favorite books i have ever read. Therefore i would give this book a 10 out of 10. I also do not even like mystery books but this one was different it was a weird and differnt read but in a good way.
