1: What caused The Great Depression? It was a long time build up of a bad economy. First consumers let people buy with credit, the government supported this with low interest rates. What the government and business's were ignoring was the fact this would cause much debt. This turned into the stock market crashing, and banks going bankrupt, because loans couldn't be paid off!

4: How Long Did The Great Depression Last? It lasted 4 years. From 1920 - 1933 1933 is when restoration started!

5: What was Life like during The Great Depression? | During the Depression lots of business's went out of business, due to debt. This meant lots of people lost their jobs. Those who managed to maintain their jobs got major pay cuts. | Farms were also affected in big ways by the depression. Due to income reductions, people could no longer buy produce or crops as they once had. Farmers now had more crops then they could afford and where going into debt, and were unable to pay their mortgage payments.

8: Poverty was a big issue during the Great Depression. But this brought the towns closer together, they were out reaching to neighbors to the best they could!

9: Who was Affected by the Great Depression? | Immigrants quickly faded during the great depression. Men were at a lower risk of getting hired because employers would hire women for lower wages. Mexicans had to start mutualistas to help each other out. They also had to fight to stay in the US because our government wanted to remove all Mexican immigrants from our country.

12: African American men lost more jobs then white men. Racial violence showed up more. Discrimination peeked to yet another high point. Children were forced to work to support their families. The starving rate for kids went up!

13: How did the Great Depression end? | The Great Depression ended when President Franklin Roosevelt promised to create Federal Government programs to end the Great Depression. This made new agencies designed to create jobs, allow unionization, and provide unemployment insurance
