S: The Pearl By: John Steinbeck

BC: THE MORAL | The moral of this story is that when you let greed over run your life, nothing good can come out of it. Also, when you let the things that you have make you forget about everything you had, you lose a big piece of yourself. You must always stay true to who you are. Once you forget, there's no time to remember.

In the end, we found out that the tracker shot the top of Coyotito's head off, killing him. Kino and Juana returned home and threw the pearl into the ocean.
