FC: The Real World Project
1: Allexia Saxman is a 9th grade stident at Oxford High School. She enjoys exercising, taking care of her 20 month old sister, and spending time with family and friends. When it comes to writing Allexia likes to write about anything that is related to nursing. When Allexia gets older, she hopes to become a registered nurse. Her advice for students that will entering the 9th grade next year is start planning saving for the future; it will help you. Also, look into colleges and carries you want. See if college is for and if not, see what jobs you can get with the expectations you have for your future.
2: Education I attended Jacksonville State University. It is located in Jacksonville, Alabama. I choose this college, because it is easier to pay. I major in Nursing. I am looking for a job as a Registered Nurse. I chose this profession, because I always wanted to help people no matter what shape, size, color, or religion.
3: Works with a wide variety of patients, from pediatric to geriatric, or specializing in one of numerous areas such as neo-natural intensive care neurologic care or dermatology. Observing and recording patient behavior. Consulting with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Establishing treatment plans, operating medical equipment. Supervising licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and certified nurse assistants (CNAs).Performing diagnostic tests. Treating medical emergencies, such as heart attacks, strokes, car accidents, and burns, as well as recovering postoperative patients. Administering medications and treatments. Annual salary: $65,950/ per year My ultimate goal at my job is to become head of the nursing department.

5: Now that I have graduate , I plan on staying in Oxford, Alabama. I choose this city, because it is where I grow up. Also, it is close to family, and it is close to where I plan to work. Oxford is in the middle of Anniston and Munford . The general population 21,275. The primary forms are Quintard Mall, Oxford Lake, Oxford Park, Moore's, Football( Middle school & high school), Baseball games( Middle School & high school) Crime in the city is medium. 7: I am going to live at Westbrook apartments. The rent for this apartment is $595. In order for me to move in to pay a security deposit of $395. The features they have here are two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, washer and dryer hookups. The bills I will have to pay are electricity($125), cable($19.99) When you bundle Internet and cable it is $10 dollar per month, phone bill($60.

9: The apartment I choose came with a fridge, microwave, stove, and washer and drier hook ups. There fore I had to purchase a dinning table and chairs, washer and drier, couch, TV, a TV stand, and end tables.With the assistance of my graduation present I was able to not cut into my paycheck and still have enough money left over. The majority of the funds were spent on furniture for the apartment.

11: At this point of the of the project I can afford a car. I have chosen a truck as my transportation. This truck cost $9,998. I will have to pay 173.58 a month, the loan term is 66 months, My APR will be 5%. My loan amount $9,998. Total paid $11,456.28 and Total interest 1,458.28. The reason I chose this truck, because it's easier to pay with my budget.

13: My grocery bill for this month was $122. Meat : $15 Perishable: $17 Snacks: $19 Personal:$51 Other: $20 A majority of my funds where spent in the personal category, because it had most of my cleaning supplies. I believe that the grocery list will sufficient me for a month. In drafting this grocery list, I learned that what I want can break me.
