2: A huge supercell thunderstorm over southern maryland inApril 2002 . This supercell storm proudcued a deadley tornadothat killed 5 people in the town of LA PLATA maryland . the tornado was rated on F4. :}

3: weather warnings for storms and tornadoes are becoming more accurate as the technolegy used to become more sophisticated. satellites,radar and storm chasers provide valube info. to allow early warnings of approaching storms!!!!!!!!!Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!

5: In the united states an average of 1oo tornadoess are observed or reported each year.

6: Tornadoes often happen during the warmest part of the day: or between 4:00pm and 6:00pm.Each year United States experiences more than 1000 tornadoes. Meteorologists use insteruments to watch for patterns. | Tornadoes however dip down from the clouds in many other parts of the world-including places such as Australia,Japan,New Zealand,India,and parts of Africa and South America. The violent winds within the tornado is probley travling hundreds of miles per hour.

7: Tornadoes can occur anywhere, but most develop over the flat lands of the Midwest.The word tornado comes from a Spanish word that means thunderstorm.Rumbling loudly,a tornado usally carries heavey rain, thunder, lighting,and hail.

8: Strong Thunderstorm on warm, humid days create the contions that allow a tornado to form. | A Minnesota tornado lifted a train 80 feet into the air. | Tornadoes can form and vanish very quickly!

9: The leavel around of Texas, Oklahoma, Kanus and Missoui have been nicknamed Tornado Alley. | Among them was a Tornado that killed 689 people in three states, It was the worst tornado in United States history.

10: Strong tornadoes have winds ranging from 133 to 206 miled per hour. Scientists think that over 1,000 tornadoes happen every year. Most tornadoes drop from severe thunder storms. | Tornadoes are very strange part of nature. They have been known to take the feathers off a chicken and carry big cows from one farm to another. Some cows have even dissappeared during tornado!

11: Albian was one of the first towns hit by a tornado outbreak on May 31 Pennsylvania.
