FC: Eastern White Pine Trees By: Eric Hill

1: Eastern White Pine trees exist in the Northeastern part of the United States. they grow more when there is m ore rainfall for that year.

2: These trees are different views of an eastern white pine tree. through this process i have learned that these trees are mostly use for shelter and for animals to eat the pine needles. One interesting thing i found out was that the longer the branch the longer the pine needle are. Also, the foundation of the tree gets skinnier on the way up. What i mean by that is the tree gets skinnier as the tree gets taller. I found it very interesting that my tree was a very tall tree. The tree is estimated to be about twenty years old or so. I also have found out that my tree is supposed to be great for animals. Some animals eat the pine needles and then some other animals would use my tree as shelter. I have not seen any animals around my tree at all so i am wondering where are the animals? These trees are very tall, and very well associated with a pine tree.

4: The best age group for this book would be anybody! The information that i put in this book is very open and closely related to all my observations. I really just want to get the facts out about the eastern white pine trees. They are a frequent tree and can be found just about anywhere in Indiana. By observing this tree over the past few weeks I have found out that trees are much more than just trees they are a great source of oxygen and they can live to be very old! Something i have really learned thats an ooh moment is that when the branches fall off they do not grow back. A very fascinating thing to find out when storm occur
