2: Triassic | The Triassic Period was during 252 b.c., a time of mystery where reptiles roamed the earth. Dinosaurs became extinct just before the start of the Mesozoic era.

4: Time | The Triassic Period was the first period in the Mesozoic Era was also known as the "Age of Reptiles", it was a time that had seen one of the largest extinctions of dinosaurs in the world .It is also located on the super continent of Pangaea.

6: Plants | Plant life in the Triassic Period included coral, bamboo, ferns and evergreens. There were also modern plants such as trees. Few tropical plants existed because the lack of water. This made it so mostly desert and temperate plants grew such as shrubs, mosses, and liverworts.

8: Animals | There were many animals during the Triassic Period. Some animals included Glossopteris, Dicynodont, and Procolophoids. There was little to no dinosaur life at the time. Also, some animals were aquatic such as starfish. Most animals alive were cold blood due to high temperature.

10: Climate | During the Triassic Period the climate was hot and dry. In some cases there were areas in the middle of Pangaea that were warm and moist. These places were called River Lake climates.

12: The End | Life during the Triassic Period was hard. Only plants that could adapt were plentiful. That means only the plants that could change to survive in high temperatures with little or no water survived. Reptiles mostly ate plants. It was always a struggle to survive. So was the life in Triassic times.
