1: UNC Chapel Hill (Tar Heels) | The University of Chapel Hill, North Carolina was founded in 1789 as the nation's first public university located in a busy city. The student faculty ratio is 17:1. The student population at UNC is diverse like no other and, as a student body, has been recognized for having the best college newspaper.

2: Tar Heels | UNC Chapel Hill has much to offer in the extra curriculum area. Talents can range from actors, dancers, writers, and musicians to varsity sports and clubs. The list is endless.

3: Enrollment, Pre-Requisites & Money | In the year 2012, UNC Chapel Hill ranked first among the 100 best U.S. public colleges and universities. As of 2012, the enrollment number is 18,430. The average GPA is a 4.5. UNC Chapel Hill has no religious affiliation. In state students pay $5,128.00 for tuition and out-of-state students pay $24,954.00. The average SAT/ACT scores are 1455 and 32.5. A student should have taken 4 maths, 4 sciences, 4 English courses, and 2 foreign languages.

4: Scholarships & Grants | The Morehead-Cain scholarship supplies tuition for a four year ride to UNC Chapel Hill and some summer enrichment programs. The Robertson scholarship program selects 18 students, each from Duke and Chapel Hill and encourages leadership. Some out of school scholarships are Goldwater, and Gates Cambridge.

5: Majors & Careers | A few popular majors are biology/biological sciences, general mass communication/media studies, and psychology. A person could go on to be a shrink or a doctor. UNC Chapel Hill offers certificates, bachelor's, post-bachelor's certificate, master's, and post-master's certificate.

6: UNCG Spartans | UNC Greensboro is located in Greensboro, NC in the city. It's a public college with an average class size of 26 students and more than 1,000 faculty members. The mascot is a Spartan warrior. Visits are offered during the week days. To schedule a visit, call admissions. UNCG has more than 180 student organizations. They also have 15 NCAA division athletic teams, 19 frats and sororities, and all of the arts you can think of.

7: The current enrollment number is 18,000. There were 2,500 freshmen enrollments and 1,500 transfers. Students come from 48 states and 82 different countries. The average entering GPA is a 3.6 and a n SAT/ACT score of 1100 or 24. A student should have taken 4 maths, English courses, and sciences in high school. 8: Scholarships & Majors/Careers | The UNCG Scholars program can offer from full tuition to fees and room and board. The UNCG Guarantee Program helps students graduate with little to no debt. Some outside scholarships are the Federal Pell scholarship and SEOG. UNCG has more than 100 undergraduate majors. The most popular are biology sciences, art studies, music performance, nutritional sciences, and Spanish. One could go on to be a scientist, artist, nutritionist, or Spanish translator.
