S: MY Voice Story

FC: The racist mall

1: It was just a few months back. My friend and I decided to go to the mall to hangout. So while we were there I decided to go get a present for a friend's party. So my friend decided to join me and follow me into the jewelry store we decided to check out. So as we went in there I noticed how everyone was dressed way too fancy. So I looked around and notice me and my friend were the only Hispanics there. the rest were all white

2: So I saw the perfect present for her. I saw a necklace with a big heart surrounded by many little hearts. So I decided to keep looking around to see more stuff they had. So one lady asked me if I need any help I denied it politely. She stayed with us for a few minutes until I asked if she needed something herself and she walked away. So after that two other workers did the same thing as her.

3: After a few minutes of being annoyed by them I decided to just go and buy the dumb necklace. Yet as I was walking up to go tell them a security officer walked up to me. He asked us if we were going to buy anything or not we have to leave. I asked why we would have to being curious. He started to glare at me and said because the is no soliciting allowed. So me and my friend got mad wondering if that the real reason so me and my friend decided to just go to another store. | <-- Dummy :p

4: So here where it topped it all off. He started to walk faster than us and went to the entrance. We knew he was trying to see if we tried to steal anything. So he just started to look at us and didn't even blink. So I started walking out casually and when me and my friend were outside one of the workers ran out to meet us and asked me if I wanted to buy the necklace for a cheaper price. So my friend and I just started to laugh wondering why the change of heart. So all I said was “no thank you I don't buy racist jewelry”. He just looked at us for a while and then walked away.

6: After that I decide not to go there anymore every time I pass by it. I still found it dumb to think I would steal when they had it all in glass cases. Honestly I was showing good manners and acting very polite. Yet why would they care what race I am they were snobbish so they should only care if I had the money to pay for it.
