5: Absorption: Have you ever gotten up on a summer day in Las Vegas and notice how when you wear a black shirt it is a lot hotter than when you wear a white shirt. That is due to the fact that the black s the absence of color, so it absorbs all of the color resulting in creating heat. White reflects all of the colors, that is one of the reasons why wearing a white shirt on a summer day keeps you cooler.
