BC: In Wild Bill's lifetime he accomplished many things such as being a lawman, a wagon driver and a gunslinger. This is why he is still remembered today.

1: Wild Bill Hickok was famous for being a lawman, who killed several people in a stunning display of marksmanship.

2: Wild Bill Hickok was born in Troy Grove, Illinois May 27, 1837

3: Wild Bill Hickok was a lawman for many places including Johnson County, Kansas.

4: Wild Bill Hickok joined the union army, as a wagon driver. He was discharged from the union army for an undisclosed reason.

5: Wild Bill's weapon of choice would be the 1851 Colt Navy. He used this type of gun most of the time.

6: Wild Bill was murdered in Deadwood, Dakota territory on May 27, 1837. He was only 39 years old.

7: While Wild Bill was gambling, John Mccall came in and shot Wild Bill in the back of the head. When Wild Bill was murdered he had the "Dead Mans Hand".

8: When they moved Wild Bill's grave, his body was still preserved. Due to chemicals in the ground.
