"All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players: they have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts, his acts being seven ages. " -Shakespeare

Shakespeare was raised in a beautiful Tudor market town in Stratford.-Of-Avon. His family was not the wealthiest in Stratford, but not poverty-stricken either.

Shakespeare was born on April 23, 1564. He was baptized on April 26th, when he was just three days old. He died, 52 years later on April, 23rd.

Shakespeare had many hobbies, as in, fishing, and of course, reading and writing! We now know that he had to write 1.5 plays a year since he first started in 1589.

Many people believe that William Shakespeare was Catholic simply because his family was, but there is close to no proof that William himself was, in fact, of the catholic religion.

Out of all of the friends that Shakespeare had, there were three people that influenced him the most, out of everyone else. If anyone contributed to his work it was Richard Quiney, Thomas Russell, and Thomas Greene.

Richard Quiney (Daughter of Judith Shakespeare) was one of Shakespeare's associates, or friend. He was also one of his grandchildren!

Thomas Russell was one of William Shakespeare's best friends; Shakespeare even included Thomas into his will, which shows a very close friendship, and it is also proof that they were acquainted.

Thomas Greene (one of Shakespeare's many cousins) is the only other friend of Shakespeare's that I'm going to talk about. He was also very close to Shakespeare.

Shakespeare's most important accomplishment was definitely Romeo and Juliet, it was one of his most famous plays.

Shakespeare wrote 36 plays, 154 sonnets, and 2 narrative poems in his lifetime!

There is no proof, but it is believed that Shakespeare attended King Edward the 4th grammar school. He began school at the age of 7 in 1571. It's believed that he ended school at the age of 14 in 1578. He only had 7 years of education!

Shakespeare got ideas for his plays and sonnets from everywhere around him. Life experiences, nature, other plays, the bible, his imagination, everywhere!

Shakespeare did not have much impact on the renaissance other than pure entertainment. During the Renaissance the King wanted entertainment, and that's where Shakespeare came in.

It's crazy to think but, Shakespeare actually died on his fifty-second birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Shakespeare put a curse on his grave so that nobody could ever move his bones to make space for others. His bones still remain, unmoved.

Shakespeare, with 15 million, has more pages on Google than George W. Bush, who only has 14 million pages. Elvis Presley only has 2.7 million!!!

Shakespeare's play, Macbeth, is the most produced play, ever. With a performance starting somewhere in the world every four hours!!!

Many people don't think about it, but beside Shakespeare being an amazing write (writing 1.5 plays a year) he was ALSO an actor! So he had his schedule full!
