FC: World War Two

1: WWII Began Sept 1, 1939 and Ended on Sept 2, 1945

2: America became involved in WWII because FDR signed the Lend-Lease Act into law, making them non-neutral. FDR decided to then lend the U.S's allies money for the war. Also Japan attacking Pearl Harbor really tipped America off.

3: World War two first began when the Nazi's invaded Poland and most of the countries is the British commonwealth.

4: Countries Involved | Soviet Union, United States, United Kingdom, China, Poland, France, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Belgium, Netherlands, Greece, Yugoslavia, and Norway. On the opposing side Germany, Italy, Japan, Hungary, Romania, Finland, Thailand, Bulgaria, Croatia, and Slovakia.

5: Common Weapons | Rifles, Submachine Guns, Machine Guns, Pistols, Grenades, Mortars, Combat Knifes, Sniper Rifles, Anti-Tank Weapons, Flamethrowers, and Shotguns.

6: Women in the War | Rosie the Riveter was made up by U.S congress people to encourage women to be independent. This means to pick up their husband's jobs and take care of everything on their own while still looking pretty and presentable. Women played a major part in the war while their husbands were gone.

7: WWII helped end the Great Depression by sending many men overseas to fight, therefore their jobs needed filled. This boosted the American economy. Also with America Lending their allies money to buy supplies for the war, they gained money from that. | Ending the Great Depression
