46: Happy Anniversary ! | Love, Kody
47: You're invited to participate in a surprise anniversary celebration for Jim & Linda Sparks. However . . . there is no actual party. Here's the story: Their 50th anniversary is on June 24th and they made sure to tell both of us that they did not want a party. So we started teasing them about the "big party." Every time we talk to them we ask a question like, "Would you rather have a band or an orchestra at your anniversary party?" Last week Dad said, "Gee, I hope everyone has fun." Then Mom said, "Take lots of pictures!" That was just too tempting, so we decided to throw them a virtual surprise party! Here's what we'd like you to do: 1) Take a few digital pictures of you (and your spouse, family, dog, etc.) celebrating. Be creative, as long as it looks like you're having fun! 2) Write a message to them. It could be a memory about their wedding day (if you were there), a wish for the future, or a comment about the “party." 3) Send both of the above to Teresa by Sunday, June 5th (but the sooner the better). We'll use Mixbook.com to create a digital scrapbook of the "party" that we'll have printed and give to them on June 18th. We'll share it electronically with all of you after they have seen it. We think they will really like having pictures of their friends and family to celebrate this occasion. The best part for you is that there is very little time commitment, no travel and no cost! If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email, and remember, mum’s the word until you hear from us after the 18th. Thank you! We’re looking forward to receiving your “gifts.” Teresa & Paula
