1: I chose this photo because it was easy to recreate and it shows that the civil war took many lives because of the dispute over slavery.

2: well i chose this photo because i knew who he was. i Also think its important to do a recreation of him. 100000 vs 1500

3: When I first saw this I new that I had to use it! It shows two buddies that have fought in the war. they both have an amputated leg, that shows that if you got shot or wounded some other way, if you do not not take care of it will get infected and eventually amputated. What I also noticed is that one man is an African American. It shows that whites had better relationships with blacks if they fought beside them in the war.

4: i like this photo because it shows to men actually fighting. You can see that there next to a house and I think the guy that is standing is African American. So they might be confederate soldiers. All we had to do was find an abandoned house and pretend were shooting.

5: well I wanted to use this photo mainly because Abraham Lincoln was in it,but I also thought it was a great photo for this assignment! I i could not find i hat as massive as Lincolns but i found sailors hat.............
