FC: Tropipelago Declaration of Independence

1: We, the Founding Fathers of Tropipelago are here-by declaring our Independence from the savage modern day society. We and a select number of individuals have found refuge in an Island group in the middle Pacific. In this new nation each and every citizen will be guaranteed rights and abilities that no other country gives available. As you read this declaration you will truly see the vices of modern society. You will also be able to witness how a society should be; fair and equal. Thank you for reading this and we will be happy to see you in the near future on Tropipelago. Sincerely, The Founding Fathers, Ev Johnson Will Taylor

2: 1. Society Has Become Corrupt Today, we are faced with corruption everywhere. We as people have seem to let ourselves be taken advantage of by our helplessly corrupt government. In Tropipelago we have created a government in which no one person is solely in power. Our government will be checked by the people, making sure no corruption whatsoever seeks in. 2. Economic Inequality Society is severing a line in economic equalities. The haves and have-nots are greater and more polarizing than before. With unemployment through the roof, the government still finds a way to add benefits to the super rich. We, the founding fathers, will promise in Tropipelago that each and every citizen will be treated fairly on whatever grounds; economic, social, etc. 3. It's Cold Yes, it is cold. Not just the weather, but the people too. Today, people are becoming rigid and harsh. Whatever happened to waving to your neighbor, or greeting a stranger? In Tropipelago we stand for respect for all people, property, and nature. 4. Unhealthy Habits The citizens of the world are clinging onto unhealthy habits that are destroying ourselves. From fast food to being glued to the TV, people are not taking quality care of themselves. How this really becomes a problem is when these habits are effecting how people interact.

3: People are staying indoors, not caring about the outside world. In Tropipelago we need our citizens to be part of our country, to engage in activities to be one. 5. Unnecessary International Involvement What ever happened to minding your own business? MYOB people. That's what we need to be saying to ourselves.Being involved in numerous wars, only made our debt go up. Which is a huge cloud looming over us. We need to work on the infrastructure of our country, to improve problems that we face. Then maybe we can go off to Timbuktu and help someone! That's what we are promising in Tropipelago, it may sound selfish, and it probably is, but country first. 6. Environmental Problems Modern-day society is killing our wildlife, its inhabitants and their habitats. Not to mention the amount of pollution in the air. And also the trees and habitats we are destroying. Our promise and goal is to accommodate nature and people; by using green utilities, letting our animals live in the open, etc. 7. Unfair Opportunities Today there are not equal opportunities for everyone. Some people can get the top education while others are not. Some can get high-paying jobs while others are working just as hard but for less. In Tropipelago we have created a system of government in which everybody has the same rights and opportunities. We have equal education for all, as well as help available for people in need.
