BC: The End
At this stage of life, Bryson and Blake are our whole world! I'm so thankful I get to stay home with these two everyday, most of our days are spent at home in our pj's, but I wouldn't change it for anything! We've enjoyed watching their bond grow, it's great to hear them laugh and giggle together.
 Blake Tyler Hansel | 3 months old | January 2013 | ............................................ | Our | is growing & growing!
The new year is here and with the hectic holiday season over I think we are officially adjusting to life with two little ones! It's been a great transition; Bryson adores his brother and Blake is a great sleeper! It's been wonderful to have plenty of help from my mom as well, especially when we discovered I had to have my gallbladder removed. I fell victim to that common complication after pregnancy. The surgery went smoothly and we were able to go back to normal life!
We spent St. Patty's Day at Grammy and Papa's watching the Big 12 Championship Go KU! | First Bite!
Bryson had so much fun dying Easter eggs this year, as well as finding them with Uncle Austin.
Our family loves Spring, we welcome the warmer weather by spending time outside! This Spring we had a special visit from Uncle Tyler, trips to the playground, and Blake's baby dedication at church.
The year of milestone birthdays- the big 30! For Mother's Day we had both sets of parents over for a BBQ after Blake's dedication at church. The weather was warm, so we played outside and had a great time.
Congratulations to Ruben on graduating pharmacy school at KU! We were so happy to celebrate this huge accomplishment with them as they have worked so hard to get to this point!
We met babies Olivia and Carter for the first time! Olivia Claire February 13 Carter Lane April 10
The boys absolutely adore their Daddy! We get so excited when he comes home, we rush to greet him! In the warmer weather we like to have picnics at the park, go on walks, throw rocks in the water, and play on the playground. Around the house they love to ride on Daddy's back, make fires in the fireplace, work on projects or help around the yard; picking up sticks and mowing the lawn.
This June we camped at Lake Okoboji for a few days. Bryson stayed in the camper with Grandma, Papa, and Kalyn, while we stayed in a hotel room with Blake. We had fun on the campground miniature golfing and swimming in their indoor pool. We visited Arnold's Park where Bryson had a blast riding all the rides. Aside from Blake's top 4 teeth coming in, it was a great time! | Lake Okoboji Here We Come!
We bought Grandpa Hansel's boat! | We take this picture every time we are together!
 4 Generations
We went to Humboldt for a 4th of July BBQ. We played badminton, horseshoes, launched rockets, and even got to pet the baby pigs. Bryson was not a fan of the snakes Daddy tried to light with him... maybe next year!
Around the 4th of July we like to spend a weekend at Lakeshore with Brandon's parents. Bryson enjoys the outdoors and has so much fun riding around the campground in their golf cart.
The weekend of our 6th wedding anniversary, Brandon ran his first 5K with Kalyn! We had a fun time cheering them on to the finish line! Their course even went right by Papa and Grandma's house! | Summer | 5K
 Summer Highlights!
Bryson's turning 3! | Bryson was so excited for his birthday this year! We had 3 Jake and the Pirates parties for him! Papa Troy and Grandma; Grammy, Papa, and Austin; then Papa, Grandma, Kalyn and her friend Josh celebrated the big day with us! He had a blast opening gifts and getting showered with love! He was very specific he wanted chocolate cake with green frosting.
 Birthday Boy!
Sarah and Nathan tied the knot! Another great event we were thrilled to join! I was behind the cake most of the reception, so Blake enjoyed some freedom to dig into the cake with Papa Troy and Great Grammy! One of the benefits of big family events is catching up with friends. Amanda is near and dear to me so it's always a treat to catch up with her!
 August 10, 2013
9/9/13 | Brooke and Josh had a Kansas trip planned for September, so the boys and I packed up and took a long Kansas trip ourselves! We started our journey on August 30th to Kansas City where we caught up with a few friends. We then traveled to Wichita to stay a few nights with Papa Troy and Grandma. We kept heading west to stay a week with Great Grammy. It was so nice to relax and spend much needed quality time with her! We tried to visit each family member throughout our week stay. The last day or two Brooke and Josh were in town with their girls so we went to the zoo and had a get together at Janice's. It was a long trip but wonderful to catch up with so many loved ones! | FAMILY
