2: James Allan Vsetecka | James Allan Vsetecka Jr. was born to James P. Vsetecka Sr. and Edith W. (Stika) on September 27, 1940. He was the only child in their family. | James loved to stay busy whether it be riding on the tractor with his dad, helping with the farm chores, fishing on the Mississippi, riding bicycle to and from school or the neighbors house, going to Aunt Emma's for her special baked goodies, or playing his many musical instruments.

4: Darlene Marie Reicks | Darlene M. Reicks was born to Albert J. Reicks and Louise C. (Scholbrock) on March 19, 1942. Darlene was one of six children. Darlene remembers playing with her favorite toy accordion and doll from Christmas. She would always get the prettiest wrapped present from her Aunt Tillie. Her mother would start weeks before, baking Christmas goodies. She remembers taking one day summer vacation trips with her family after Sunday church with a picnic packed for the day.

6: Jim and Darlene met at a dance in Spillville, Iowa. They enjoyed going to movies and dances from then on. | Darlene was impressed with Jim's good nature and he wasn't a show off. Jim enjoyed talking with Darlene and she enjoyed dancing which was something he loved to do.

31: I love going to their house to see the cows., staying on the farm and playing. I enjoy it when you take me to different events and McDonalds like Sam and Morgan. I enjoy chatting with you on the phone. When you babysit you play games with me. I love you very much. You are good grandparents. And I enjoy having ice cream with grandpa! Love, Sid | We love going with you to Disney on Ice last winter. We enjoyed traveling to the cities for the show and staying on the farm. I, Sam, loves the big TV and playing video games. We enjoyed Disney World this last summer. You take us to parades, McDonalds when we are hungry. | We love that you come and cheer us on at their different sporting events through out the different seasons from swimming, baseball, softball to basketball. 32: Andrew | I remember grandma and grandpa taking us to Disney World which was a lot of fun. I remember grandma making me special crustless pumpkin pies just for me with whip topping.. I remember sleeping over at grandma and grandpa's with my cousins. I have asked many times for you to sleep at my house too! Grandma and Grandpa thank you for all you do for me. Love, Hailey | Hailey | Grandpa and grandma would pick me up with their dirty old car from Rehana's. I tell them that their truck is faster! I had fun going on the plane and to Disney World with them. I liked going to the farm and riding the tractor with grandpa down the road. And I also like staying overnight at the farm with my cousins. 35: We celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary at The Pub in New Hampton with family and close friends. Mom and dad did not know at the time that we had a surprise party planned for them in April. But soon after they started to plan their own party, so we had to let them know that there was a planned surprise party in April. It is sure is hard to plan a surprise for those social people!
