BC: LORD, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished you have done for us. Isaiah 26:12

FC: 2010

Can’t do 2010 without including the kids’ newest passion – Rock climbing. I think it would be Randy’s too but I kind of hold him back. I’m a chicken so someone has to keep me company at the bottom worrying. .............................page 4 | Birthdays | Brad November 10th | Paul September 5th | AJ November 12th | Welcome to our 2010 memories! | We took a cruise in May ............................page 2 | July, Lake Thompson near DeSmet .........page 6 | Paul couldn't take AJ to the Dylan concert so Brad ventured out to the Hills for the Sturgis Bike Rally, Concert, and climbing ........page 10 | SDSU football, Go Jacks! ......................page 12 | Paul and AJ finished 3rd year and started 4th year in Med School which brought interviews and debating over how to rank the different residencies. They spent their year working very very hard. Paul took his Step 2 clinicals in Texas in August and visited his brother, Chad. AJ and I traveled to CA for her Step 2 clinicals in Dec and had a fun visit with Arden and family! ....page 14 | Christmas was very special this year. My book actually started out just about Christmas but turned into a whole year of memories ......page 16 | And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

We took a cruise in May. It started out in Miami, FL and went to Cozumel, Mexico. Very relaxing (except for the speedboat ride with Brad). We had to take it before May 15th so Paul and AJ couldn't join us. That was a bummer. Our first family vacation without AJ! | 2

 Speedboats are

One of the first climbing experiences for us involved the Spirals in the Hills with a Sylvan guide named Cheyenne. It was a great climb and when they got to the bottom and we made it back to Hill City we stopped for pizza cuz our climbers were starving! During the nice relaxing meal Paul mentioned something about AJ and she hauls off and hits him and says “I thought we agreed to keep our mouths shut about that”. Well Randy and I would never have caught on to Paul’s statement, but we bit into AJ’s big time! Come to find out- they (Paul, AJ and Brad) are on this tiny little ledge and its Brad’s turn to follow the guide up and AJ unhooks her rope out from her clippy thing. Brad right away recognizes that this is not good and politely asks “WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?!” Of course Paul quickly unclips his spare clippy thing and clips her in til he and she can get her tied back in and all is well and now we know why Paul is going into emergency medicine.

Soaking up the sun at Lake Thompson! | 6

The kids slept at the cabin and Randy and I slept at the farm, just a couple miles away. Except for the very first cloudy morning the rest of the week was sunny and warm. Wakeboarding, boat rides, kayaking, grilling and just lying in the sun...fun!

Our family week in July was the best time ever! Paul brought his family's boat and Kayaks and the weather was perfect! Arlen and Marshz contributed food and joined us every evening for boating and sitting at the fire.

Sturgis Bike Rally and a Bob Dylan Concert

And you can't come to the Tschetter's in August and not do a little climbing! | 11

ST. LOUIS - For the sixth consecutive year, the South Dakota State University football team leads its league in all-academic selections. Eleven Jackrabbit players, including three first-team selections, were honored on the 2010 Missouri Valley Football Conference All-Academic Team, which was announced Tuesday. SDSU placed five players on the second team, including Matt Hylland, Brad Iverson and Dean Priddy who were honorable mention selections in 2009. A junior from Sioux Falls, Iverson has posted a perfect 4.0 GPA while majoring in biochemistry. Listed as a wide receiver, he saw most of his playing time on the Jackrabbits' special teams units in 2010. | 12

 Lost to Nebraska 17 - 3

One of my goals in life was to become a physician. Another one of my goals was to spend every spare minute I have enjoying the beauty that surrounds us. I decided to try and merge those two goals into one project ExpeditionDoc.com. --Paul Tschetter | October in Cape Cod | What amazing good fortune it is for us to have Paul in our family now. He has brought so much to our lives and truly not a day goes by that we aren’t blessed by him or his family. --Veda Iverson

...my thoughts have lately been on significance. i want to be a deep person - make an impact, serve my jesus, love people ... i've come to the conclusion in my logical thoughts that god absolutely does not care one bit WHICH career you choose but HOW you carry it out - how you compose yourself, how you use your talents, how you shine love, how you exhibit grace... -AJ Tschetter | was supposed to go to brad's game in fargo today. tried and failed. blizzard here. now i'm crabby, actually sad, because i was going to get to see mom&dad and watch brad play, and spend the night relaxing together in celebration of brad's 22nd and my 26th this week. | ...after driving i94 for 20 minutes and not getting up past 30 mph i decided to claim defeat and turn around. stopped at starbucks for a skinny venti latte to try and cheer myself up. at least the cup is cute. | AJ is a blogger. | some excerpts from her blog... | 15

 Christmas 2010 | 16

Countryside Church in Spearfish | THE FIGHTER got a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes and we loved it!!

You won't see any pictures of us opening gifts this year. We decided to have a Christmas where we gave to a cause or benefit. We chose World Vision Caregiver Packs for AIds victims. We signed up to do 25 kits, we assembled 5 orange briefcase kits and 20 refill packs which provided caregivers with materials needed for more than a year. | Our Cozy Cabin on Deer Mountain | Brunch at the Colonial House

The Instructions weren't real clear so we did some serious guessing and figuring and making due but in the end it all worked! | AJ set the camera up in the loft on automatic, so we got pictures every minute or two of all our hard work!

z | Terry Peak and Deer Mountain

Boarding & Skiing was so fun! Paul was the brave one, Veda was the chicken, Randy the never-say-quit one, AJ the graceful one, and Brad the good sport!
