S: The Kelley Family 2010

FC: A YEAR IN REVIEW | 2010

2: "Families are like fudge ... mostly sweet with a few nuts." | We started 2010 with a trip to Tilden Park's Little Farm. We brought celery to feed the goats and cows.

3: MAKING MEMORIES | At the end of January we had a nice visit from Molly and Bess. We had a fun beer tasting and then played bowling on the Wii.

5: We had a lot of fun in February, we visited Studio Grow, San Francisco, and the Oakland Zoo, and we took a lot of walks.

6: Happy Birthday

7: { | { | LOVE | For Virginia's birthday the girls made her a special cake, Tom took her to her very favorite restaurant, Chez Panisse, and her friends took her out dancing. On Valentine's Day Virginia and Tom went on a special trip to Napa Valley.

8: In March Zoe discovered climbing trees. The girls enjoyed a dinner at El Moracco, where they danced with belly dancers, and Zoe had her first visit to the dentist.

9: It's The Little Things In Life That Matter

10: The kids performed a magic show, making Jimmy disappear and reappear again.

11: Friends Make Every Day A Party | We had a lot of fun at our annual Family St. Patrick's Day Party.

12: April was a fun month. The whole family had a great time getting ready for Easter. Virginia went to Knott's with the Show Team.

13: Spring Time

15: EASTER | happy | We were able to spend Easter Day with all our family. we started the day at Aegis with Grandma LeeOra and the Bentley's, then we made our way to Grandma Molly's house for some more egg hunts and yummy treats.

16: so many | During the month of May we celebrated Mother's Day with all the Bentley's. We took a ferry trip to San Francisco, and prepared for a busy summer. | "I'm putting all my panties together. These have flowers, these have nothing, these are all Dora, and I just put these ones all together so they don't get lonely."

17: Watching the kites on Fisherman's Warf.

18: In June Zoe graduated St. Dominic's Preschool. Zoe K and Zoe H DinoBuddies | We went on a weekend trip to Safari West with all the Bentley's. We started our trip at Paradise Ridge Winery. At Safari West we slept in the cabins and stayed up late.

19: Slip N Slidin' fun | The girls had fun making cookies. | Grandma Molly joined us to go out to dinner to celebrate Titia's birthday.

20: For a project one day in June the girls built their very own lemonade stand. | Sam's bridal shower

21: Zoe performed to Little Bitty Pretty Ones in her dance recital. | Fun on the tea cups at Pixie Playland.

22: Summer Time! | The girls were able to try out their new lemonade stand in July. It was a huge success. The girls sold out of lemonade, earning $12.

23: The entire Kelley side of the family took a trip to Maui. | Children's Fairyland | Annual Family 4th of July BBQ

24: A trip to the Avenue of the Giants, in Eureka, for Sam and Kevin's wedding

25: At the wedding reception we got to walk along the tops of huge fallen redwood trees, and climb inside them. | August 07, 2010

26: We decided to explore the redwoods a bit before heading home. We drove our car through a tree, and we got to play in a real live tree house. The girls liked climbing up to the second floor.

27: We spent some time at Eel River. There were a ton of fish in the water, right at our feet. We collected a bunch of beautiful river rocks. The water was warm and it felt good to splash around in it.

28: The Candyland party was a sweet affair. | Decorating Gingerbread men

29: Zoe's 5th Birthday | The kids made chocolate finger paint pictures, decorated gingerbread men, played pin the crown on King Candy, and made a mess of the pinata. What a great way to celebrate Zoe's 5th birthday.

30: We had a lot of fun finishing up our summer. We went to the circus, we played at our community pool nearly every day. We spent a lot of time doing crafts. Amber began her first dance classes. And we grew our first herb garden. | Zoe especially liked to make mint tea with our herbs.

31: Amber started her swim class by herself. On her very first day she moved up two levels. What a little swimmer. Caroline and Virginia took the girls to Santa Cruz for a quick day trip. The roller coaster wasn't a huge hit, but they loved the beach.

32: Zoe is off to Kindergarten and Amber is off to preschool.

33: Zoe had a great first day at Woodside with Mrs. Saribay. She enjoyed walking to school with Dad, and loved all the crafts and reading they got to do. | Amber was so excited to be a Teddy Bear at St. Dominic's. She loved her first day with Teddi. She had fun with all the new kids.

34: In September Zoe and Amber had their first salon haircut. Their favorite part was the lollipop afterward. We also went on a trip with the Bentley's to Sonoma Train Town. The kids had a great time on all the rides. | Borrowing Uncle Bill's Vette for the day. | "I want the hear the Lettuce Song!!! - Amber "All the single lettuce, all the single lettuce. Put your hands up, oh oh oh"

36: HAPPY BIRTHDAY | Amber's 3rd Birthday | Balloon animals | Games & Prizes | What a great time everybody had celebrating Amber's birthday. So many fun things to do and friends to play with.

37: Step right up, under the big top, to celebrate Amber's 3rd Birthday! | Acrobats | Cotton Candy | Balloon animals | Popcorn

38: Zoe's 1st school field trip to the Smith Family Farm | After knocking out her two front teeth, Zoe was ready to take on the rest of October. Besides, she had two new crisp $5 bills from the tooth fairy. | The kids got to ride in the wagon, pick out a pumpkin, play in the jamboree, and then explore the farm.

39: Zoe's Halloween parade was a lot of fun. She was so happy that she got to bring Amber to walk the parade with her. At the party afterwards, mom helped in the class by making all the kids balloon animals, dressed as a clown. | Virginia & Tom had a great time on a weekend trip to Vegas.

40: Trick or Treat | We always look forward to picking out our Halloween pumpkins. While we were at The Clayton Valley Pumpkin Patch we found a ton of ladybugs in the sunflowers.

41: Amber at her music class party. | Halloween Night! Time for trick-or-treating. | The girls had a very busy day.

42: A day at Grandma Molly's is always a good time.

43: A Day to Give Thanks

44: The day after Thanksgiving we drove to LA to visit the Kirkpatrick family, G & G Vlahos, and Disneyland!

45: Once we got home from out trip, we couldn't wait to get ready for Christmas. First on our list was to pick out our Christmas tree. We also started making holiday cookies. Finally, at the very end of November Virginia's orchids bloomed!

46: We all enjoyed watching Amber at her first Christmas Program with St. Dominic Preschool. | The little Lord Jesus lay down his sweet head.

47: At Zoe's Kindergarten Holiday program we heard a bunch of different types of holiday songs. When it was over Zoe was picked to present the pianist with a bouquet of flowers. | Once school was out for the Christmas break, we got to have breakfast with Santa. Both girls told Mr. & Mrs. Claus what they wanted for Christmas. Zoe asked for a Barbie in a pink dress and Amber asked for a puppy.

48: Sat. Dec. 11, 2010 11:00am Piano Recital Diablo Light Opera House | O, Christmas Tree, O, Christmas Tree.

49: Sat. Dec. 11, 2010 5:00pm Dance Recital Let it Snow | Song For a Winter's Night | After a full day of recitals, we went, with the Bentley's, to Old Spaghetti Factory to celebrate. | Waving to Jimmy!

50: Dean Santa, For Christmas I would like to spend Christmas Eve with all our cousins. I would especially like to have some of those amazing confections Becky makes. For Christmas morning I would love to wake up and snuggle with my family, then enjoy a nice Christmas day with all the Bentley's. Then I would like to finish off my Christmas at Grandma Molly's. I would like to dance and laugh and enjoy all the love in our lives. Sincerely, Virginia PS I know there is a Santa Claus.
