FC: A Lifetime of Memories

"Because it's two steps forward through an open door. None of us knew that this much was in store." | I remember arriving in Lubbock with Sara wondering what exactly I was getting myself into. I had no idea what to expect, what to do, or who I would meet. I never, in a million years, would have thought that so many amazing things would have come from this. I remember like yesterday all the good times. Piling in the back of the Suburban in the pouring rain at Main Event, all the little inside jokes like "milking the mouse" and "spread eagle." Or the infamous Copper Head Road. That song came on the radio last night working outside and I just started dancing. Mom and Johnathon just looked at me. They'll never quite understand. One of my favorite memories of State Council...that last night in Austin. Oh man, that was some good times. I don't think I have laughed so hard since. Those, and the memories that followed, will forever be with me. | THE BEGINNING

 Time of our lives

Once Upon a Fairytale | Lying on my bed, I reached over and picked up my phone. "What in the world are you doing?" I thought to myself. I almost didn't call you that night. I was afraid you would say no. I remember your mom calling me on the way to Littlefield saying that you were really sick but you said to come anyways. I felt so bad for you sleeping on your parent's bed while your mom and I watched The Blind Side. My prom was next, and WOW! It was the best I had ever been to, simply because you were there. If you hadn't have gone with me, I wouldn't have gone. Our "after prom party" was so much fun. I still laugh about the drunk guy walking into the girls' bathroom. I Loved every minute of it =).

 { | { | LAUGH

A friend knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you forget the words.

Overcoming high school, especially senior year, was a real challenge. A lot happened my senior year a ton of good, but a lot of bad. I can remember rushing home after a terrible day of dealing with stupidity and immaturity and just sitting in my floor quietly, usually crying, and praying that God would get me through to graduation, but also, that He would send someone to help make it a little easier. If someone would have told me that two hours away lived someone that would listen, be a comfort, and pray for me, and that that person would help me through the last part of high school...I wouldn't have believed them. But after you and I started talking and just being really good friends, I no longer prayed that I wouldn't wake up the next morning. I had someone next to me that was always picking me up off that bedroom floor from two hours away. The only things that got me through that year were God, my family, and you. When I walked across that stage and flipped that tassel, it was like a wave of relieve washed over me, and setting in the crowd next to my family was you. You have helped me through some of the toughest times of my life and the hardest situations, and you better never, ever, forget that. I'm not quite sure where I'd be if God hadn't have sent you when He did.

 Good Times

so many | Each memory we keep with care means future happiness to share.
